I am installing 82579V gigabit network adapter on my windows server 2008 R2 machine. but it says that "can not install drivers. No Intel Adapters are present in this computer". I am using DH67CL motherboard. It seems that I am using a wrong driver. Please help me to choose a correct driver.

I know this does not help you, but for anyone else looking at this discussion, the The Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection does have drivers for Windows Server operating systems. Extract the driver download using winrar and manually point to the 82579LM driver it works fine for me.
