can i access report with default credentials
I have a web farm where one is an application server and the other is data server. I have created a user control in my app server with a treeview with different nodes which will map to different SSRS reports that is resided in the data server. Every time when i click a link it is asking for the credentials. I want to set the default credentials so that it will not ask for credentails again. Can any body help me to solve this issue. It is being a hectic job for the all my users to enter the credentials repeatedly. Please help me to resolve the issue.

Hi Damodar Koppisetty, According to your description, you would like to access reports without credentials prompt, right? Correct me if my understanding is wrong. In case we using Windows Integrated authentication for the Report Server, the client will use current Windows user's credential to access the Report Server. As a result, none login dialog will prompt. Please follow these steps. 1. Open the Report Manager (http://<server>/reports) with administrator privilege. 2. In Report Manager, navigate to the Contents page. Navigate to the report that you want to configure a report-specific data source for, and open the report. 3. Click the Properties tab. The General properties page opens. 4. Click the Data Sources tab. This opens the Data Source properties page of the report. 5. Click a custom data source to specify data source connection information within the report. 6. In the Connection Type list, specify the data processing extension that is used to process data from the data source. 7. For Connection String, specify the connection string that the report server uses to connect to the data source. NOte: It is recommended that you do not specify credentials in the connection string. 8. For Connect using, click Windows Integrated Security option For more information about it, please see: How to: Configure Data Source Properties for a Report (Report Manager): http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms155882.aspx If there is anything unclear, please feel free to ask. Thanks you, Eileen
