Hi, If you are using UAC (user access control) enabled OS, try running the IE as an administartor and open the report manager. If this doesn't solve the problem, add this URL to trusted sites. If this two doesn't work, try connecting to http://localhost/reportserver and see if returns any error. Apart from this, you also require rights to view the folders. To change this you can ask admin to give your login enough catalog permission to view some folders. -Chintak

Hi I ran it as administrator and it's added to the trusted sites. Both http://localhost/reportserver and http://servername/reportserver return the following error. "The permissions granted to user 'servername' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)" I'm trying to set up system level permissions http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa337385(v=SQL.90).aspx but I can't connect to reporting services from management studio which is giving me the following error. Cannot connect to TAM-PC. ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The operation could not be completed. (WinMgmt)

Looks like you don't have any rights/privileges to access Reporting Services/Report manager. You need to have atleast Browser rights to access the Reports or view the report items. You cannot grant rights on your own. Please contact someone who has Content Manager/Admin rights. They can grant you the needed rights.. Check this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156014(v=SQL.90).aspx [Managing Permissions and Security for Reporting Services] Hope this helps!!Chaitanya
