Hi, Hi, I am using the SSIS tool to move AS400 files to Sql2008 R2. When I enter the query select * from tableas4000 then I can see all the rows, the statement is parsed in the next step I get the error " An error occured which the SQL Server Integration services wizard was not prepared to handle. No error message available,result code:DB_E_CANTCANCEL(0*80040E15).(System.Data)". How do I solve this? I am using IBMDB2 UDBFOR ISEREIS IBMDA400 OLE DB PROVIDER. Pls give a solution to this problem

did you tried to use ODBC connection with ADO.NET sources in SSIS?http://www.rad.pasfu.com

ArthurZ, Basically I m a dba , but i got a task that needs to move a data from As400 to sql server 2008 R2, i have installed Microsoft Oledb provider db2 on the server then i tried to use that provider to connect to As400 from ssis, there i couldn't succeeded then i am using IBMDB2 UDBFOR ISEREIS IBMDA400 OLE DB PROVIDER, this time i can connect to As400 but when i used sql command type and try to preview data, there i am getting error like this.."No error message available,result code:DB_E_CANTCANCEL(0*80040E15).(System.Data)".
