Guys I'm having a problem migrating a Sharepoint 2007 config database I'm using psconfig .exe in order to move the database. Whenever I run the Sharepoint configuration wizard the event viewer logs error 6395 "Insufficient permissions to write to the configuration data cache". The permissions are correct WSS_ADMIN_WPG and WSS_RESTRICTED_WPG already have read write access on the %systemdrive%\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\config directory actually I noticed there is no config directory in %systemdrive%\inetpub\wwwroot\wss however there is a config directory at c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\microsoft\sharepoint\config I've also set permissons on it still nothing I keep getting the same 6395 error. So has anyone seen this before
