I created a publishing SharePoint site under the server SFGiants the url being http://sfgiants/wschamps ...... and the ip address being http://123.123.123.12/wschamps... I then created another site this time under the 'sites' folder directory with another site http://sfgiants/sites/attpark with the ip address being http://123.123.123.12/sites/wschamps. Anyway I'm trying to access the attpark site using the ip address but I get a page can't be found error. I can access the site via the server name though (there's no DNS name yet) but wanted to know why I can't access the site via an ip address
