best way to do rapid sharepoint 2013 development with data in lists or database

We have SQL database and SharePoint 2013. If we store data in SharePoint lists it becomes unmanageable after 10+ lists and relationship and if we keep data in SQL we lose speed and sharepoint features(need to do full dotnet coding)... Is there any tool or alternative in sharepoint to manage data(like http://www.webparts360.com/, https://twitter.com/DocumentDB) to deliver fast and still uses sharepoint features. In salesforce.com its very fast and data is stored in a single location and it does not have list limitations.

Can we store huge amount of data with relationships(like 20 sp lists with relationships plus manage it easily with schema)--5000 limit plus performance vs storing in SQL(loses speed and turns into dotnet)

Is there any tool or app ever developed to manage sharepoint lists and schema like SQL or salesforce.com?

Hi,

As I understand, you want to a tool or alternative in SharePoint to manage data to deliver fast and still uses SharePoint features in SharePoint 2013.

You could create the relationships with the lists by using a combination of unique columns, lookup columns, and relationship enforcement (cascade and restrict delete). For more detailed information, you could refer to the article below.

The article below is about creating list relationships by using unique and lookup columns.
