hello cracks

using here WIN 10 tech preview build 9926 .

I am quite happy and only found one snag:

the background image of my home page WWW.HB9SIX.ORG

is not displayed, both in IE and Firefox.  In WIN 7 & XP

this problem does not exist. 

Any idea what part of tthe OS could influence this behaviour.

Hello HB9 I can see your background image nice beacon, I am running win 10 TP build 10041.

Have you checked device manager, Winkey+pause break key, click device manager and check if you have the correct display drivers.

I checked as proposed by you and both the

Basic display adapter driver and the generic PnP monitor driver

were found to be at the newest level.

Since I happen to be the webmaster of the site mmenzionned,

I used share point designer to display it locally and there were no problems.

At least you gave me the hint how to activate the device manager...

Can you recommend the build 10041 and if yes, how can I update from

bild 9926 to 10041?

Hi HB9 notification area click all settings, select update and recovery, Windows Update select advanced options,

Under Choose how preview build are installed,

there are 2 options Fast and slow, if you have slow you will have to wait for the ISO to be released.

HB9 I would wait for the ISO, it will have more fixes and hopefully less issues.

Look in the Insider Hub for the some known issues with build 10041for more information.

please check your internet options.

control panel -> internet options -> advance -> settings -> (locate on list) multimedia -> show picture (must be check)
