I am trying to "move" a site to another collection by backing it up into a .cmp file and restoring to another collection. I created the .cmp file and restored it to a test site to practice. The libraries and lists were restored, but the web part pages were not. Did something go wrong or is this a limitation of the backup process? Unfortunately, the original site has been deleted. Any advice? Is there anyway for me to get that site back, or those .aspx pages?There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.
