ZTIbackup and retaining the .wim locally
HI, simple question here that i cannot seem to figure out. Basically, the ZTIBackup setup is working just fine. But, the .wim is being saving in C:\_SMSTaskSequence\StateStore\system.wim which is what we want, there is plenty of free space. The problem is after the new OS is layed down the C:\_SMSTaskSequence folder is deleted, along with the .wim. What do i need to set to keep the .wim?

AFAIK it uses OSDStateStorePath as location during a task sequence in ConfigMgr. That folder is save during the task sequence. Unless you are also re-partitioning the disk, then you lose the data at that point already. My Blog: http://www.petervanderwoude.nl/ Follow me on twitter: pvanderwoude

The wim is not deleted, it's moved to C:\Windows\Temp\StateStore by the ZTIMoveStateStore.wsf script / JohanRegards / Johan Arwidmark Twitter: @jarwidmark Blog: http://www.deploymentresearch.com FB: www.facebook.com/deploymentresearch
