ZTIBackup
Cant figure out this one guys... Had the imagex backup working on my task sequence using ZTIbackup while using an X64 boot image. Now, i've changed it to an x86 boot image and for some reason the ZTIBackup script is using the X64 tools directory and imagex file. That results in the following message. I have tried changing the "Disable 64-bit Redirection" on the task but that does nothing. Ideas? This version of C:\_SMSTaskSequence\WDPackage\Tools\X64\imagex.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

I reviewed the ZTIbackup script and determined that the script simply looks in the %deployroot% folder and searches all subfolders for imagex.exe. To test this theory, i renamed the imagex.exe in the X64 folder to imagex_.exe and redistributed the MDT toolkit. I ran my task sequence and it works. Although i don’t think i have a need to define more logic in the script for now, i do think it would be helpful if Microsoft released a version of the ZTIBackup script that checks the architecture and picks the x86 or x64 folder accordingly.
