Hi i have got two web front end servers. while accessing one of the sub-site on WFE1 I am OK to access the site while accessing the same sub-site on WFE2 is giving me the following error " "You are not authorized to view this page You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied". while trying access the list on same sub-site on WFE2 i am getting following error " Server Error in '/' Application. The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. " any idea?

If you are using two different URLs for each server, make sure there's an alternate access mapping for http://wfe2 on your web application. Also, in IIS, confirm there's an IIS mapping for the site/IP address/host header and port that corresponds to your web application. 404 errors on secondary web servers can be also seen if the IIS site is DOWN in IIS or if the matching application pool isn't running. hi I am using the same url on both the servers. even main site http://test.co.uk and all the other sub sites are accessible through WFE2 but there is only a sub site http://test.co.uk/mytest having access problem mentioned above. IIS on both the servers got same settings.
