Hi,

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to pass user credentials in the yammer embed code.

If your SharePoint 2010 environment has been configured to Claim based authentication, then you can set the access token in the yammer embed code.

Here is a similiar thread for your reference:

Embedding yammer feed skipping OAuth, using access token only

For more information of yammer, I suggest you can contact the yammer support:

Thanks

I believe you are referring to Yammer Embed correct?

If so, no, Yammer Embed handles authentication for you. You can set Embed to use single sign on though.

General docs.

Most of the settings you can configure may be found at:

You may need to consider using the Rest API if you want to send credentials and obtain your own client oauth tokens.

Hello Eric,

Thanks for the information.

Could you please help me to get feeds into share point using REST API(including credentials passing) step by step.

Thanks,

Jithendar

Hi,

Your best bet is to use the documenation and sample apps that Yammer provides. They provide a much more detailed walk through, with sample code, than I could provide here.

Hello Eric,

Thank you,

My requirement is :

we are working in a organization and we have to get yammer feeds from other organization(just to see) and we are using one credential of the other organization user.

All users from my organization default login with provided credentials to see the other organization feeds.

Is it possible..?
