how to extract data to an XML file using SSIS? Please

I may was not clear enough, what I need is to extract data from SSIS to a XML file rather CSV file...in order to apply XSLT on the XML file.

I'm not sure, where you're getting your data, but you can have a Data Flow Task to create your XML file, and then use an XML Task to apply your XSLT transformation.

You can purchase an XML destination adapter that is available at http://www.keelio.com. This adapter allows you to map any SSIS sources to an XML destination. Along with the string concatenation task you can build multi-level XML documents with ease.
