Wrong certificate remote web gateway

Hello,

I am not sure which part of the forum to post this.

I am having a problem with remote web gateway on server 2012 R2

It works correctly internally

I can login externally and the login page displays the correct certificate.

When I try to connect to a computer externally it displays the certificate for our Exchange 2013 server complains about the mismatch and doesnt allow me to continue.

Any idea on how I can solve this issue?

Kind regards

Hi Tim,

Would you post out the exact error message so that we could better analyze this issue?

If there is also a corresponding event logged in the Event Logs, please also post it out.

Amy

Hi Amy,

Sorry for the delayed response I only get the error externally so had to test at home.  see error message below. if i click view certificate it points to a certificate with an internal server name rather than the certificate that I assigned  to the remote desktop gateway with FQDN.

I am unable to add a screenshot so I will just type the error message: The computer cannot verify the identify of RD Gateway (domain) it's not safe to connect to servers that that can't be identified. contact your network administrator for assistance. If i click ok it closes the box and doesn't allow me to proceed

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I suggest you re-configure the certificate for Remote Desktop Gateway to see if it works:

Select an Existing Certificate for Remote Desktop Gateway
