Writing mode: vertical in Reporting Services 2008
Hi
I am new to Reporting Services 2008. I have a report from SSRS 2005. In that report layout, I modified text field's orientation to Vertical and set its writing mode as tb-rl. So, a field called [Report] displays text vertically starting from R.
If this text is long say [Reporting services] it still displayed it vertically in one single line in SSRS 2005. But in SSRS 2008, It is appearing in two vertical lines. How can I get text in one vertical line?
Please advise.
Thanks!

Can you post some or all of your report in xml format please? I am building the report on the fly through XML and I've tried setting the WritingMode but I just can't get it to display the headers vertically.
I am trying it on a tablix and would like some headers but not all to be displayed vertically.
Any help is appreciated as I've been at this since yesterday

I am using a table for displaying text. For the header of table, I changed WritingMode. My report is developed using SSRS 2005.
I am not sure about it in Tablix as I haven't used it yet. is it possible tablix doesn't allow WritingMode to be tweaked? It shouldn't be the case.
just to test, create a dummy report with tablix and try to change WritingMode of tablix header.
