Hi,

When I copy people into my workflow it cancels the whole workflow however it works when nobody is copied in.

I have copied the workflow in SharePoint Designer from another site which worked fine. I have also tried to remove all references to cc and start again but the workflow continues to cancel.

Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

Did you check your workflow ULS Log errors? This is may be caused by SharePoint Designer cache.

First, close SharePoint Designer and then remove all files from the following folder:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache

This contains things like page caches.

Then, do the same for this folder:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache

This contains cached items such as assemblies used and lots of other xml configuration files.

Restart SharePoint Designer
