Corel Office WordPerfect  File Open & Save dialog boxes stop working after opening successfully the first time. Can be restored sometimes after restarting the virtual application or computer. Also, in some instances, I need to delete the Dialog Position data stored in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\AppV\Client\Packages\...Software\Corel\WordPerfect\17\Open Dialog Settings\ to get the dialog boxes back.

I get the impression that the dialog boxes may actually be opening, but outside of the viewable desktop area as the application itself can not be manipulated any further although it is not unresponsive.

Running App-V 5 SP3 with Hotfix 2.

Sequencing was done with latest update for the sequencer on a standalone, fully updated, windows 7 only OS.

I saw something similar here but this applies to App-V 4.6.

Have you tried to use ProcMon to diagnose the problem? It's been a long time since I've attempted to package WordPerfect so I don't have any specific advice to give.

Yep, I am one of those that ascribe to the "when in doubt ... procmon". Thats what pointed me to the key above. But beyond that nothing else is really standing out.

The dialog boxes are, in fact opening outside the viewable desktop area (use ALT+spacebar > Move to reveal). For whatever reason, though, the dialog position value keeps reverting to that area outside the desktop.

Since App-V 5.1 is out now. You can give a try and see.
