With Office 365, I am unable to open SharePoint 2013 site with Windows Explorer

I have Office 2010, Windows 7, and IE 11. My sharepoint site has been identified as a trusted site and my web client services is started. When I try to use the option on the library option to open a document library using Windows Explorer, I either get a message about Sync the library or sometimes I am getting a message about my sharepoint site is "Not Implemented". Nor does the option under Files > Upload document, "upload documents using Windows Explorer instead" is working.

I have indicated that I need to keep "signed on".  I have a lot of files that I need to move to a sharepoint library but I cannot do so.  Any Ideas??

Hi Dollie Lewallen. Have you tried all the troubleshooting steps here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/2629108

You could also try mapping your library to a network drive directly and see if that works: http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2616712

Try mapping OneDrive for Business and team site libraries to network drives with Zee Drive, its easy!

Try our file share migration tool for OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online Office 365

I have tried the troubleshooting steps on 2629108

I tried to map this address to a network drive  https://kcmo.sharepoint.com/sites/GSI/it/Audit/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/SitePages/Home.aspx but then received an error message

Do I have too much of the URL copied?

I signed onto my site, and then selected to map a network drive.  Unfortunately after typing in the address, I get the message that "The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another"  I have full rights to this site. "

It would be so much easier if the "open with Windows Explorer" worked under the library connect & export. I am able to use this approach on a 2010 sharepoint site  but...

I appreciate your suggestions and assistance.

I happen to have access to a 2010 SharePoint site that is associated to our Project server installation. I can do a Map a Network drive for one of my 2010 document libraries. but then I can also on this site use the Explorer option.

There is a detail which I forgot to mention: At one time, I was able to use the Windows explorer on the 2013 site. (sorry about not mentioning that). I wonder if by any chance one of the Microsoft Updates has caused my issue.

Hi Dollie,

There are some reasons that may cause this issue. We cannot exclude any Microsoft Updates can cause this issue.

You can use other machies to test. If these machines could work well, then you can compare the differences between the problematic machie and normal machines.

In addition, as your issue is solved, I will mark your reply as answer to close this case. If you have any question about this issue, please feel free to reply.

Thanks,

Wendy
