Wireless not enabled
Dell Optiplex 3010 desktop running Windows 7 says wireless connectivity is not enabled but provides no guidance on how to enable it. There is nothing in Control Panel about wireless networks. My NetGear router says it cannot scan for wireless networks, perhaps because the adapter is turned off or disabled, but we had a functioning wireless network until two days ago.   I found WLAN AutoConfig and Wired AutoConfig in Services and Applications, and they were both stopped.  Now they are both started, but that changes nothing.
