Windows Service Memory Usage Monitor Views?
hello, I have this Alert Source: xxxx - Application - Service Servicepaye Path: Servere name.ad Last modified by: System Last modified time: 10/20/2010 9:40:56 PM Alert description: The 'Servicepaye' service has exceeded the memory usage threshold with a value of 28946432. This alert is coming daily and I would like a dashboard with Alert View, Event View, performance views associated. I could not find the Monitor "Windows Service Memory Usage Monitor". Any directions? Thanks, DomSystem Center Operations Manager 2007 / System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 Support

Go to the alert, right click, create override. This should give you some information on the rule name that is creating the alert. It won't be the generic template name. Microsoft Corporation

Hi. It looks like that was maybe created with the Service Template, right? Similarly to what Dan describes, you can go to Authoring > Monitors and scope to xxxx - Application - Service Servicepaye. Expand Performance and you'll see the Memory Usage Monitor. If you go to Authoring > Rules and scope to the same class, you'll see the performance collection rules.Layne
