Windows Performance Recorder. How can I take performance logs from remote machines?

Hi!

I guess I found right place to find WPT experts).

So, I have an unsolvable problem since the last year. I want to take performance logs from remote machines via Windows Performance Recorder. Is it possible? Does WPR have it's own tools to do this or may be I should to solve this problem by myself? Even if so, I think that I am not a first person who has that problem, may be there are some available ready solutions of this problem?

Thanks.

There really isn't a good way to do this through WPR. This is made for lab machines, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/hh825508.aspx. Are you have current performance problems or are you just trying to see what the performance is for all machines?

I want to use it for performance testing.

Scenario is simple.

  1. Start logging performance counters on all machines
  2. Run Performance tests
  3. Stop logging performance counters on all machines
  4. Analyze results.

The problem steps is first and third.
