I had Windows 8.1 Professional installed on a Lenovo IdeaPad. I upgraded to Windows 10 as suggested by Microsoft but I have discovered that I have been upgraded to Windows 10 Home. I use RDC to connect to our server but now it does not work

Why was I not upgraded to Windows 10 Professional?

I am afraid to revert back to Windows 8.1 in case I do not go back to Windows 8.1 Professional

For a normal upgrade path, the Pro version should be upgraded to Pro version.
