Windows 7 Clients not updating during OSD
I have been updating our Windows XP clients using the ZTIWindowsUpdate.wsf script. Works perfect clients update from Windows Updates. I run the same script on our Windows 7 TS for OSD and the machines are not updating. Is there something I have to configure different for Windows 7 clients?

Do you have a separate WSUS server in your environment that OSD systems are supposed to update from?Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys

When you want to install udpates during a ConfigMgr Task Sequence without using Software Updates in ConfigMgr and use ZTIWindowsUpdates.wsf intergated with SCCM. So you can just create a package contains ztiwindowsupdate.was and ztiutility.vbs script. Then using the ztiwindowsupdates.wsf script and setting a WSUSServer variable. That's ok. You can take this for details: http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/cnackers/archive/2011/04/28/using-ztiwindowsupdate-wsf-to-install-updates-in-a-system-center-configuration-manager-task-sequence.aspx Thanks.

I have a internal WSUS. I wanted it to use Windows Update site not our WSUS. With the WIndows XP clients this is working fine. Is the behavior differenct with Windows 7 clients that I need to specifie a WSUS server using a TS Variable?
