Windows 2012 R2 Domain Controller-FRS Replication Status Report

Hi,

We have a mix of Windows 2003 R2 and Wndows 2012 R2 Domain Controllers and we are in the process of removing 2003 R2 DCs. I came to know about the FRS Report that can be generated through GPMC in WIndows 2012 R2, but when I open GPMC and click on domain it shows the status as Refreshing DC list and then comes up with the status "Data is uncollected" and it also say that "No infrastructure ststus information exist in this Domain".

I'm aware of the KB:2975719, but do I need to have all the rollups installed on all the 2012 R2 DC, or just 2975719 ?..

In my lab I do not have this KB or rollup installed, but the feature works... anyone have better suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks,

Raj

Hi Raj,

>> comes up with the status "Data is uncollected" and it also say that "No infrastructure ststus information exist in this Domain".

Did we click the Detect Now button on the right bottom corner of the page? If not, we need to click the button to gather infrastructure status from all domain controllers in the domain.

As stated in the following article: We recommend that you apply this update rollup as part of your regular maintenance routines.

For monitoring the health of FRS, we can utilize Event Viewer to do this.
