Hi, 

Currently we have Windows 10 Enterprise N (Version 10.0.10240) installed. When we shutdown Windows 10 the screen goes black but is still on for more than 5 minutes... Can someone explain to me what is causing this issue?

Disable Fast Restart from Power Options, on left menu is 'choose what closing the lid does. Then select the blue text for 'change settings that are currently unavailable'  Scroll down and you will see Fast Restart & a checkbox to enable or disable.

Please boot into Safe mode and then shutdown to check the result:

Settings -Settings -> Update & security-> Recovery -> Advanced Startup->Startup Settings ->Restart

When your computer restarts, press the correct key that point to Safe Mode to boot into Safe mode.
