The Hardware Troubleshooter would freeze and I would have to push the power button to turn off the PC. The Device Manager is clean. I then re-started and ran SFC /scannow. It completed "fixing" some files and created a CBS Log. I ran the Hardware Troubleshooter again, this time successfully and it also fixed some files. I'll have to wait until the next cold boot to see if this problem is corrected. Stay tuned...
