Windows 10 Installation hangs on Windows logo (Not installing on VirtualBox)
I am trying to install Windows 10 parallel with my Windows 7. I downloaded the latest ISO and created the bootable DVD but during the installation its just hanging on Windows logo and it doesn't go further. I have even disabled the UEFI on my machine.

i don't think it hang on Windows logo, you just have to wait for it long enough for windows to proceed. that problem might be the same known issues with disk growth of 20GB+, check here.

I almost waited for one hour but nothing happened. Not sure whats the issue. And I have enough disk space so I doubt thats the issue. Anyways thanks for the reply.

Hi Rishi,
Please retry the reinstallation by disconnecting the HDD/ SSD where you have installed Windows 7 on, from your motherboard. Then, all you have to do is to set in BIOS, the remained HDD/ SSD attached to your PC, as your secondary device, first being the CD's
inscriptor.
Do you have a laptop?

Please give me the configuration you did on your VM, to install windows 10 Technical Preview.
How and what configuration do you have on your laptop?

Intel i5 2.67 ghz. 8gb ram.

Yeah its a dual boot and I made a separate partition to it.

It seems still unresolved in build 9926. I encounter the same problem.

I wonder whether your PC is Samsung. My PC is Samsung and have the same promblem as yours. I searched on the Internet, most cases like your PC occured in Samsung PC, so I guess it's the problem of Samsung. I hope someone using Samsung
PC can share the method if he/she has solved the problem.
