Windows 10 DLNA support; 200 object Hard Limit

I have a DLNA Media server and Windows 10 will only allow me to see up-to a maximum of 200 files or folders in the DLNA server directory structure.

If I use Windows Media Player to browse the server then all files and directories are shown.

The Problem occurs if I go to "This PC\Media Library (SERVER)" from Explorer.

I don't want to set up a drive mapping to a network share just to access the content (circumventing DLNA), and I shouldn't have too. This worked fine in Windows 8.1 it seems to be a problem with Windows 10.

Is there a registry entry in Windows 10 that needs changing to get full DLNA functionality back?

Thanks.

Hi HartOz,

"The Problem occurs if I go to "This PC\Media Library (SERVER)" from Explorer."

Have you checked the the following options on Windows 10 machine?
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings\Turn on Network discovery, turn on file and folder share

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Media streaming options\Turn on media streaming

Best regards
