Windows 10 & SCCM 2012 SP1

Are there any updates coming for SCCM 2012 SP1 for Windows 10 support ?

As of now, the client will not install on Windows 10.

Thank You

Hi,

AFAIK you'll need to install SP2 for Windows 10 support.

ok, so I don't need to worry about any Cumulative Updates after going to SP2 ?

Thanks for the info !

No need to wait for the next Cumulative Update.  As long as you are on SP2 or R2 SP1 you can get started with Windows 10 on ConfigMgr 2012.

I hope that helps!

Do note that there is a new ConfigMgr release coming later this year to add deeper support for Windows 10 and unique Windows 10 management tasks, but at this time, SP2 (or R2 SP1) is sufficient. Also note that a post SP2 CU is due out in the very near future though (based on the standard 3 month cycle they've been trying to stick to) -- and this CU will also apply to R2 SP1 since SP2 and R2 SP1 are the exact same version wise.
