I have a Dell Desktop Dimension 3000 running Windows XP Home Ed SP3 with McAfee. My problem is that I want to turn off the Windows Firewall and use McAfee's. Right now both are on, but that is causing me problems with Networking and Filesharing. I have two other similar computers and turning off the Windows Firewall hasn't been an issue and has solved my problem on those machines. However, when I go to Windows Security Center on this machine, the Firewall On/Off Radio buttons are grey scaled and inoperable. I contacted McAfee for help and they were able to turn off the Windows Firewall, but as soon as I Restarted, Firewall was enabled and grey scaled in the Security Center once again. Please Advise.
