Hello, Will there be support for Windows 10 as a guest VM for Hyper-V in Windows Server 2012 R2? I see that Windows 10 support will be available on Hyper-V in Server 2016, but I wonder whether we can expect some sort of an update that will also provide support to run Windows 10 as a guest on Hyper-V in Server 2012 R2.

A quick search of TechNet for 'Hyper-V supported guest os' turns up this (https://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn792027.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396) as the first item found.  It shows Windows 10 as a supported guest.

I have seen and read that RemoteFX is currently not working on Windows Server 2012R2 and Windows 10 as guestOS. So i guess the support is limited.

Hi Ben, thanks for this, funny, I just looked at the page 2 days ago, and the information wasn't there yet, but see that the TechNet article has been updated just on 24.08.2015. This is good news, as we have to put in place a bunch of test VMs for Windows 10 soon.

Do you happen to know whether System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 R2 will also support Windows 10 clients?
