Your Win 7 Pro will be entitled to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro RTM.

The initial upgrade is done through Windows Update.

Since it is an upgrade install, you will get to keep all your files, settings and apps.

Therefore, you will not have to reset your Windows Live Mail account.

P.S. I am using WLM 2012 version too.

  I certainly hope so. I have a very similar setup (but I would know how to set it up and restore the contacts. I did just that into the first insider preview build on another drive).

I have had no problems with Live Mail in the preview upgrades.
