Will Steady State work alongside a proxy server
HI All I have a proxy server set-up and currently used local GPO to set the proxy settings and the restrict the users from changing the settings.. I would now like to install steady state to lock down the pcs even more. however, it seems on the users i apply the steady state settings to the proxy doesn't get used. Surely there is a way to apply proxy settings and use steady state!!! Thanks

Me again... ok i think i have figured a way around this... as administrator set you gpo for applying a proxy and then using steadystate, under the user settings, feature restrictions, internet explorer .... untick the option that says "prevent changes to internet explorer registry settings". hope it is of use to someone else. if anyone knows a better way, please let us know. Thanks
