Wildcards in restricted internet sites
We're running XP, SP3 with SteadyState 2.5. Our ,machines are not part of a domain.
Consider the following URL:
http://library2go.lib.overdrive.com/0B57267E-89CB-411D-B7C9-A163408045E0/10/397/en/ContentDetails.htm?ID={DEC3DE92-FE38-4250-B47F-CBD7E229F201}
As you can see, there are a lot of session/item specific values in the URL.
Is it possible using SteadyState (or some other method) to only allow patrons to access the ContentDetails.htm page on
http://library2go.lib.overdrive.com, regardless of what the other session-specific values and or parameters might be? I was hoping to enter a string with wildcards in SteadyState's allowed websites list
(e.g., http://library2go.lib.overdrive.com/*/ContentDetails.htm*), but it doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestions appreciated!

Hi Greg W, in Windows SteadyState Web Addresses Allowed section, you can add "library2go.lib.overdrive.com" so that patrons can browse the site without using wildcards in that section.
Do you mean that only allowing patrons to access home page of the site? If that is the case, it seems that this cannot be done by using Windows SteadyState.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. I actually want to restrict patrons to only being able to access a single page (ContentDetails.htm) on the library2go.lib.overdrive.com. I don't want them being able to visit any other page on that site.
It doesn't sound like it's possible with SteadyState, but if anyone else has any other ideas, I'd be happy to hear them (I thought about using the windows hosts file, but it doesn't appear that will work either.)
