We have several Dell R910 NUMA servers with 1TB of RAM. On many occasions, the SSRS RAM usage (reportingservicesservice.exe) exceeds 400GB (!!) shortly after restarting the service and pulling up a few reports via the report manager. Clearly, this is unacceptable. We followed the directions in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159206.aspx and set the WorkingSetMaximum and WorkingSetMinimum. They appear to have no effect. I also saw this described on another posting, also with NUMA servers. Thoughts?

Do you have a support agreement with Microsoft? I would be raising a support ticket with them... Josh Ash
