Where to place .VBS script?
In our current XP build we kick off a VBScript that will read AD and then assign the next computer name. So when it runs it will see the last machine build was ABC000895 and the next machine it builds will be ABC000896, then 897, 898 etc..... We want to use the exact same VBScript in our Windows 7 OSD. My question is where would we kick off this VBScript? In our Task Seqneces after the OS has been applied but where? Or, can this be kicked off and run in the .WIM file? Thanks. mqh7

as long as you run it after the apply operating system step and before the Setup Windows and Configmgr step you should be ok, My step by step SCCM Guides I'm on Twitter > ncbrady
