Hi All, I want to know the url of the reports from the backend, so that I can use it to jump to that url, is there a way to find out the url of a report from the back end(from Report Server database). Thanks Vineeshvineesh1701

Hello Vineesh1, I dont' know the answet to your question but why dont you use 'Jump to Report' instead of using 'Jump to url'. After all, you are trying to jump to another report! Just a thought! Ayesha.

Hi Vineesh, Do you mean you have a custom application which needs to navigate to the report on Report Server by URL? If I have misunderstood, please point out. Due to accessing the Report Server database directly is not recommended, I would suggest you to use Report Services web service to access the Report Server. Reporting Services web service provides interface to for managing objects on a Report Server. For example, we can get item list in a specific folder as this article shows: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc188712.aspx#S7. To get report URL, we need to can combine the report path which can be retrieved by web services with the Report Server name in the application. For more information about Reporting Services web service, please see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms152787(v=SQL.100).aspx Thanks, Tony ChainPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help
