I have a small network consisting of 9 servers total. I have one high-powered 2008 R2 Hyper-V with three relatively light-use virtual machines running on it. I have combed the documentation for a best place to install SCE but could not find an answer. My thought is I would install it on the high-powered 2008 R2 Hyper-V host, but I know it is best to avoid installing anything on the Hyper-V host. If it requires a 2008 server to install then my only other option is to install it on a 2008R2 virtual machine. Should I put it on the host or a virtual machine of the host?
