Where is My Site Profile Details stored in the DB?
If anyone knows the database and table(s) it would be a big help. I'm doing some troubleshooting and thought it would be easy to find but not so. Many thanks!! Pete

Hi there. To get an idea on which SP's and/or T-SQL queries used, you can always start the SQL Server Profiler and start a trace. But generally speaking, troubleshooting any kind of SharePoint issues based on data found ad hoc in the database tables, is something that "smells a little bit funny" to me. What kind of issue do you have with the My Site Profile Details? Hope this helps. Regards, MagnusMy blog: InsomniacGeek.com

It disappeared, profile details are blank. However, I can create and save new information. Tried to do a DPM recovery of my profile but it did not restore the details information. Curious as what is in the database and where to recover from in the future. Thanks Mangus Pete

Pete, SharePoint isn't really known for having memory loss. When these kind of things happens, are you 100% sure that no one/no custom code has modified the profile details? Also, if this would be a known issue, please update your farm to the latest SP and CU. Regards, MagnusMy blog: InsomniacGeek.com
