Where are my filter parameters in 2008?
Hi gkhize, I did a test by the following steps: 1. Create a report in Report Builder 1.0 with Filters. 2. Upgrade to Reporting Services 2008 R2. 3. Modify the report in Report Builder 3.0. In order to modify filters in Report Builder 3.0, please refer to the steps below: 1. Click the View tab in the menu bar. Check Report Data. 2. In the Report Data pane, right click the dataset and select Query… 3. In the Query Designer window, click the Filter to open the Filter Data. Then we can modify the filters created before upgrade. If you still cannot find the filters, please let me know. Recently converted from SQL 2005 to 2008 R2. Now using Report Builder 3.0. Reports I built in Report Builder while on 2005 run fine. However, when I try to go in and alter some of the filters I'm using I can't find them. The report produces the filtered data properly, but I can't find where to modify it. I've tried looking at the properties of each field in the report and checking for filters but none are listed. I've also tried looking at the data fields in the dataset and checking filters that way but none are listed. ?????

Hi gkhize, Sorry for delay. Based on you description, I noticed that the filter in the report works fine but you cannot modify it in Report Builder 3.0. Since the issue is unusual and occors after upgraded from Reporting Services 2005 to Reporting Services 2008 R2, I will test and try to reproduce it in my enviroment. If possible, please also post more details for example where did you add the filter and the filter setting. And I will let you know if I have any progress.
