Where am I going wrong on this software updates search?

Guys I'm perplexed. I'm trying to create a search that excludes all Itanium-based updates and KB926356 but I just can't seem to get it to work. it has to be something simple. Hoping someone can tell me where i'm going wrong. Here's a screenshot of my search:

Any ideas?

Your search basically queries: ((title does not contain itanium) OR (title does not contain kb92656)). This is true for all rows returned.

Hi,

I would grab the ArticleID for the update you want to exclude and exclude the article ID and use the Title to exclude Itanium..

That should work just fine.

Yes, that's correct. It's a shortcoming in the design of the search feature. I'm pretty sure there's been a DCR submitted and I know it's something we complained about. I don't remember checking this specifically in the R2 preview so not sure on the exact status.

What can do though, is create a sub-folder for updates you don't want to include in the search and move the updates to the sub-folder. You can even create ,multiple sub-folders for some organization like one for Itanium, one for Language Interface Packs, etc.
