Hi Denis, Thanks for sharing the post. I’m sorry that I’m not very clear about your description, would you please provide more information about what podklyuchaetsya means and describe with punctuation like commas, thanks for the understanding. As for the error message, do you have WebDav installed, here is a blog about installing WebDav make explorer view does not work, for more information, please refer to: http://blogs.technet.com/b/jpradeep/archive/2009/12/01/after-installing-webdav-7-5-explorer-view-does-not-work.aspx If it isn’t the issue, please feel free to let me know. Thanks, Qiao Wei

HI Qiao Wei I enclose a detailed description of the problem. When users tries to access List5\Attachments using windows explorer they get the "Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows." There are no errors accessing List4\Attachments using windows explorer. have a bad knowledge of English. Ate you have any questions about the description of the problem you ask, I will try to describe in detail. Shortcuts on the buyout you propose no positive result. Thank you.

I am facing the same issue. I have a SharePoint 2010 site that contains a list where the items in the list contain attachments. The users try to map a drive letter to the attachments folder (\\siteurl\Lists\someList\Attachments) and get the error "Windows can't access this disk". If they instead map to the list (\\siteurl\Lists\someList) the drive maps correctly, but when you try to expand the Attachments folder you get the error "Windows can't access this disk". This was working just fine until recently. I suspect it is a problem with this particular list because I have a different list on this site that also has attachments and have no problems mapping a drive to that list and retrieving attachments.

The solution I found was to delete some of the list items. My list had thousands of items all with attachments. After deleting a few hundred list items I could access the Attachments from WebDAV again.
