I did that but it still showed as installing. Any idea why?

Clients have to retrieve policies first before they are aware of the change.

But it isn't defined in Client Settings... So every time I want to deploy a new package I have wait 60 minutes for a policy update or the install will be seen? That doesn't make much sense... It's defined in the program settings. Also, what is the difference behind 'Hidden' and 'Suppress program notifications in the Advanced' tab.

Users are still getting the popups. I can't install if that is the case.

If the program settings are set to hidden, it should be hidden. You do not need to specify any client settings. If you changed the program settings and the machines already had policy, you will have to wait up to your 60 minute policy setting or just manually kick off a policy update to see the new hidden program.

If they are still getting the interactive install, then you need to troubleshoot if the machine has gotten proper policy. Run a 'Machine policy retrieval and evaluation cycle' manually, wait a few minutes and then test again.

Suppress program notifications are the tray icons and bubble notifications about installations happening. Hidden is the method in which the executable/msi will install.
