When a view is modified and if group by clause is used on the view it gives "'g_ExpGroupState' is undefined"
I have a view which has a group by clause on two different columns. When I change the view and try to expand the group it gives an error. I have to restart the IE for it to start working.

Hi Reena.CH,
Thanks for your post.
I try to reproduce the problem, but it doesn’t happened to me.
Here are my steps:
1.
Create a new view, named “ViewA”;
2.
Group the items in “ViewA” by two columns;
3.
Expand the group node, it works;
4.
Change the view to another, and then change back, expand the group node, it works.
I can’t get the error message. So Are there anything different steps with your operation?
Additionally, have you custom the page?
And I suggest you to repeat the
operation in other client, share your result.

I also got this problem on some libraries (not all?!)
I replaced the problem view it worked for one day and then this problem starts again!
javascript error: "g_ExpGroupState is undefined" and then the path to this view is shown!?!
Could this be an explorer issue?
PS: we work with citrix servers

It seems that if you surf around in a SharePoint library with a double group (sorted) view and using somewere in this proces the back_key from MS IExplorer (button upper left screen) this javascript problem appears!!!
So now I can reproduce this javascript problem but knows somebody how to solve this problem?
