When I paste a a value in lookup column in data sheet view I got an error "is not a valid value for this field", if I choose a value from the column its working fine, the column type in lookup reading from another list.

Hi Omar,

The data in excel must be like "ITEM NAME;#ITEM ID" form, and then you can copy the values into the datasheet view.

lookup field is a field that is configured to get its value from a field in another list. So i don't think copy paste will work for this column.
