What would cause an Excel Spreadsheet, opened from SP 2007, to present different behaviors to users
Platform is MOSS 2007, but Office 2010 User calls in. When they open a spreadsheet from one of their document libraries, Excel 2010 displays the data, the various tabs, etc. However, they are not able to change column widths, switch tabs, etc. However, they have a co-worker that accesses the spreadsheet in the same manner, and they have no problem changing column widths, switching tabs, etc. Is there something within MOSS that could cause this type of behavior? Since the behavior is occurring in Excel 2010, it seemed to me that it would be a problem there, rather than in MOSS. Thank you for your ideas.

Always start by eliminating permissions as an issue. Next, there are security features within Office that prevent things from happening. Ensure those settings. After those are reviewed, report back any new symptoms or issues.Steve Clark, MCTS | Twin-Soft.com Easy Bins Dumpster Rentals of Northern VA.
