Hi FIM people! I am growing the databases in my DEV and will be importing 4,000 users and need to determine a good size for both of them. I wonder the difference between FIMService and FIMSychronization databases. + FIM objects are stored in FIMSynchornization (Metaverse), but what kind of info is stored into FIMService database? + Which one grows in a high rate? Thankssssss!!! max

As well as the current values for an object, the FIM service also stores requests - so it will (in most circumstances) grow faster than the sync DB. You can configure the portal to dump the requests after a certain time, but because of the database design I would always expect it to be significanlty larger.Steve Mitchell Technical Director - Oxford Computer Group
