What is the expected performance time for FIM2010RC1???
Hi people! I am working with a flat file containing 4234 users. FIM MA is taking about 3h40min to export them to FIM. We are looking to decrease this time dramatically. The rest of the process is quite fast. My FIM box is a virtual machine. (2 cores AMD optheron 2.10GHZ, 4GB RAM). SQL Server 2008 is contained in the same box I am using the "person" object to populate the MV. 5 attributes are being flowed for each object (id, firstname, lastname, email, phone number) What is the expected time for exporting the aforementioned 4234 users?? Thank you!! max

Performance guides for FIM are not yet released but I think they are planned for some time around RTM.Sounds like you aren't getting much mileage out of your machine. I've imported 500K objects into FIM in RC0 over two days using a VM with 4GB memory, but I did that using PowerShell issuing reqests to the FIM web service. Sounds like your bottleneck is the FIM MA itself.CraigMartin Edgile, Inc. http://identitytrench.com

HI Craig! Yes FIM MA is the bottleneck as far as I can see. Have you heard this is a normal time for FIM? How did you do that using powershell? Do you have a guide? thanks max
