My cursor has started jumping around when I type. It is extremely annoying! Please help! I found a suggestion about Alps Software but I don't know what this is and where it is at on my computer. Thank you!

Alps software is here but I doubt seriously it is the cuase of your cursor issue.  Care to tell us more about your system and the issue?

According to your description, it seems like hardware problem not system. Please try to replace a new mouse for test.
